Customer Reviews of this mxl mics
Beneficial to the price however i find it somewhat muddy, By simply BassMan (Seattle, California United States)
It's difficult to beat this particular mic in price. I have a single and often apply it home saving projects, demonstrations and such. It is a good inexpensive strategy to record words, but I discover the sound a little muddy, and sometimes come back along with eq to turn straight down some of the low-mid wavelengths. Now there exist several condensers coming out on this low price variety, and We've tried those dreaded and have not yet found an affordable one I love any better when compared with this. Pertaining to finished merchandise, I'd utilize a better mike if obtainable, but this will work having a bit of EQ as well as a careful hearing.

The mike requires phantom electrical power, so I acquired the Art work Tube Megapixel preamp to go with that. That preamp warms the audio and really aids this microphone stand out when compared to built-in mic pre-amps on my own board.

Just the thing for the price, great for podcasting, By Joe Barnacle (New York, The big apple)
I have 2 of these as they are SO low-cost and use these people mainly in your own home if I possess a musical concept. One of the evaluators above mentioned it absolutely was a bit colorless which I completely agree with. Yet it's incredibly low-cost and rather detailed to the amount of money. Now i'm curious the actual way it will hold way up over numerous years of use. At any rate, this is probably the right "step-up" mic pertaining to podcasts if you are at the moment recording using your computer's built-in mike or a r / c shack dynamic mike. I would pick this within the m-audio mics- it seems slightly more resilient.

Great Microphone For the Cost, By latentaudio "latentaudio" (New york)
I purchased this specific mic in order to record mandolin along with acoustic guitar inside my PC dependent home facilities and would not be more happy.

It correctly reproduces my Taylor beginners guitar. When utilized in conjunction with a form of art tube pre-amp, it really enhances my own low cost mandolin.
